have already been forgotten. The key to remembering information like
this is to make it meaningful. This example will show you how to give
these numbers some meaning.
The first step to remembering these numbers is to break the numbers
up into smaller more manageable groups and then work with each of
the groups. The groups will be put together into a story, which will
give the numbers meaning. If you can remember the story, you’ll be
able to remember the numbers.
Here are the numbers you needed to remember:

730: Most people wake up at this time in the morning to get ready
for work. This is how your story will start.

11: Before you get out of bed, you’ll want to put your slippers on.
Imagine putting on your slippers in the shape of ones.

2: You need to get dressed so you take your clothes off the
hanger. The clothes hanger looks like the number ‘2’

811: You need to eat some breakfast, so you fry up two eggs and
two pieces of bacon (or sausages if you like). The two eggs look
like a figure eight and the two sizzling pieces bacon resemble two
ones.

4: To eat your breakfast, you’ll need to sit down; you pull out the
fold-out chair to sit on it which looks like a ‘4’.
The story for these numbers is your morning routine. It is highly
unlikely that you will forget what you need to do in the morning and
by turning that story into a mnemonic to help you remember these
numbers; chances are you will never forget them again.
