more familiar you become with your tools, the better your ability
becomes to use them effectively.
There are two kinds of memory: The natural memory is that memory
which is imbedded in our minds, born simultaneously with thought. The
artificial memory is that memory which is strengthened by a kind of
training and system of discipline.

Hand Tools:
Hand tools are the physical
study tools
that will help with your
memorization and comprehensive process. Most hand tools simply
involve the use of paper and pen. Dont underestimate their value as
they are very powerful study tools. Some of these tools also require a
great deal of time to prepare, but the time spent is well worth the
effort.
Flash cards:
Flash cards are very simple to make and can be used everywhere. A
flash card is a small recipe sized card that contains important
information that needs to be studied and remembered.
The reason flash cards are so powerful is that they are able to be used
anywhere and are a very good way to make use of small increments
of time. Flash cards can be used on the bus, while waiting in a line, or
even posted around the house. Flash cards are the ultimate memory
tool when you only have small fractions of time to study with.
Flash cards have many different uses, but are most effective when
learning or memorizing new information such as
a new language or
memorizing facts.
If you are using flash cards to learn a new language, one method
would be to write the English word on the front of the flash card and
write the foreign equivalent on the back. While learning the
language, you can alternate between which side of the flash card
you start with. By alternating the approach you used when learning a
new language, it will help improve the connection you have with the
words.
