Muscle relaxation
Studying for long hours tires and fatigues the body which can cause
upper and lower back pain, a tense neck, and knotted muscles. Not
to
mention the stress which is associated with studying can cause
tension headaches, tense jaws, and overall muscle stress. Muscle
relaxation is a great technique to calm and relax the body’s muscles.
It is obvious that this type of tension is not conducive to effective
studying. There are many difference techniques to combat tense
muscles through muscle relaxation and if you are interested, there are
hundreds of books on the matter. The muscle relaxation technique in
this book is geared specifically toward students.
